Heart and Vein

MIT’s main building relies heavily on hundreds of vents, ducts, heating, cooling, and air circulation systems to stay afloat. While some are exposed, many of these ducts hide patiently between corridors or behind closed doors. In reality however, these systems require continuous care and maintenace- they re constantly under inspection and renovation, and as such, become artistic objects and scenes to be consumed and gleaned.
