Introduction:
This is a test production for the first post of Open-Source at outofframe. As a student work publication that also doubles as resource/database page for students, its goal is to combine something like KooZA/rch with Dimensions.com.
This post will mainly focus on the post-production of an image to achieve a melancholic look that I went with for my Core II representation. It relied on two key techniques: noise and desaturation
Guide:
1.Noise
Often you will find that the resolution/pixel density of the entourage images found on Google will not match up with the render. Photorealism requires continuity of resolutions between images, which can be achieved by adjusting the noise levels.
I opted to use Smart Filters for adjustments later in the process https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/applying-smart-filters.html
A combination of color balance, desaturation, and lowering contrast and brightness blended the look of the entourage with what can be assumed as underwater/interior lighting condition.
2.Desaturation
